The first picture is of the mother plant, the other pictures are of the actual plant for sale. This is a very unique type of Begonia that does prefer higher humidity, especially when younger. However, as it grows you can acclimate it to lower humidity. Native to New Guinea it has deep crimson and green leaves but new growth comes in almost pink in color as the plant matures.
