This living room has brought this home from the early 2000s into today, and the future with the timeless wood and porcelain features😍

What is your favorite part of this updated living room?

I can’t decide between the custom entertainment center or the custom fireplace. 😬

Huge shoutout to Frank's Marble and Granite for taking on this large format porcelain install. It came together exactly as planned!

Let’s start at the beginning of the house… the foyer!

Over the next few days I’m going to share the OFFICIAL before and after of the beautiful renovation I had the opportunity to work on.

From the initial consultation, through every design decision, and overseeing the project to the finals steps… the project was one for the books!

That “little” project I’ve been working on has finally been put out into the universe. While still a work in progress, I’m excited to share it with all of you!

Welcome to Just Artisans & Co., my home decor store in York, featuring locally made pieces.

My dream is to continue providing elevated designs for your spaces, while supporting local artists and makers. Let’s be honest - great design comes from great art and inspiration. What better way to be inspired than by the local community surrounding you?

Come take a look around, be inspired, and let’s use that energy to bring your next project into reality!

A little behind-the-scenes of what I’ve been up to lately… 👀

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet over here, it’s because I’ve been pouring a LOT of time into something new.

Just Artisans & Co. is a home decor store, carrying one of a kind items from local artists! And it’s getting closer and closer to opening. I cannot wait to share this space with you.

It’s been equal parts exciting, terrifying, exhausting and completely worth it.

More coming soon. 🤍

Here it is ladies and gents! The moment you’ve all been waiting for….

Ok, maybe not. Maybe it’s just me.

Sherwin-Williams has released their 2027 Color of the Year! Celery!

Notice how lighting makes such a huge difference in how the color appears? Always test your samples in your own spaces to be sure you love it before buying!

Give me your thoughts! Love it? Hate it? Want to use it?

I’ll share my thoughts, but you go first. 😉

Flashback to 3 years ago…. Some things will never change…

- Like seeing potential in old pieces
- And wanting to make spaces just right, rather than settling for something that already exists and forcing it to work

More updated and custom pieces coming soon as I work towards the opening date of my new home decor store, Just Artisans & Co.! 🤗

When a client says they need a custom entertainment center to house their electronics, we deliver! 😍

With very specific size requirements and cord management capabilities, this unit was designed to allow cords to travel while fitting the vibe of the space perfectly.

We measured every piece of equipment, established a basis of design, and they trusted me with the vision to take to my local woodworker, Eric.

There is a large tv speaker in the center section, strategically placed behind speaker fabric and a slatted face - unnoticeable simply by looking at it.

And the waterfall edges…. Oh. My. 🤩 It literally looks like the wood has been wrapped for a seamless look.

Huge thank you to Eric for pushing this to the top of your priority list!

When the universe gives you an opportunity to work with your mom, you take it…. Because she brings you your favorite energy drink… and because you love her. 😜

We may butt heads, but I love that my kiddo and I can work together on occasion.

Any guesses what he’s building??

Ok friends, I’m going to be brutally honest with you here.

1. I don’t know how we got to Sept. I thought yesterday was July. 🙃

2. I promised you all the final reveal of the gorgeous kitchen…. And I haven’t shared that yet.

But here’s the truth-bomb. It’s actually not 100% complete yet.

Not because of scheduling, or ordering. Not because of the contractor, the designer, or the homeowner. Not because of the supplier.

But because there is a clip for the refrigerator that had to be remade, redesigned, or put into production. And that one small piece has taken longer than anyone imagined in would take. I don’t know the specifics. But we’re waiting…. Patiently.

The refrigerator showing in this space is a loaner, that Martin Appliance has graciously provided for the homeowners to use in the interim. This allows them to use the space while waiting for their beautiful new panel-ready refrigerator to arrive.

I’m here to tell you that nothing ever goes 100% as planned with construction projects, but we do everything we can to make unforeseen circumstances as minimally challenging as possible.

So give it some time…. There WILL be final reveal pics coming. Eventually. Until then…. Enjoy this before and “almost” after. 😁
