LONG Tray

LONG - meaning Dragon in Vietnamese - is a contemporary interpretation of one of the most enduring symbols in Eastern culture, representing strength, authority, and graceful movement.

Sculpted from Oak wood, LONG stretches across the tabletop with a flowing silhouette. Its natural grain travels along the body, while both ends gently rise like dragons ascending. The balance between weight and lightness, strength and grace, allows the material itself to become part of the expression.

Được tạo hình như một khối điêu khắc trải dài trên mặt bàn, LONG để những đường vân gỗ tự nhiên chạy dọc theo thân khay, rồi nâng nhẹ ở hai đầu như đôi đầu rồng vươn cao. Bắt nguồn từ hình ảnh chiếc Ấm Tích nằm kén mình trong giỏ ủ thân thuộc, một biểu tượng bình dị gắn với nếp sống và những khoảnh khắc sum vầy của người Việt xưa. TICH diễn giải hình ảnh ấy bằng ngôn ngữ thiết kế đương đại, kết hợp hình khối mộc mạc, lớp men kim loại biến đổi tự nhiên và sắc gỗ trầm ấm.

Mỗi chiếc ấm, mỗi chiếc chén mang một vẻ đẹp riêng không lặp lại, lưu giữ những dấu vết được tạo nên bởi lửa, thời gian và tay nghề thủ công. Với TICH, Pd không chỉ tái hiện một vật dụng từng phổ biến trong mỗi gia đình Việt mà còn mong muốn khơi gợi lại hơi ấm của sự sum vầy, nơi những giá trị xưa cũ được tiếp nối và nuôi dưỡng trong nhịp sống hôm nay.

Inspired by the image of the Tích Teapot gently nestled in its warming basket - an iconic symbol of Vietnamese everyday life and moments of togetherness in the past. TICH reinterprets this familiar image through a contemporary design language, combining modest forms, metallic glazes, and the warm tones of oak wood.

Each teapot and cup carries a distinct, unrepeatable character, preserving marks shaped by fire, time, and craftsmanship. With TICH, Pd not only reinterprets an object once found in many Vietnamese households, but also seeks to evoke the warmth of gathering, where timeless values of generational connection quietly thrive within the rhythm of modern life.

TICH returns in a new glaze - Bronze Glaze.

Inspired by the beauty of metal shaped by time, the glaze carries a warm, deep bronze-brown tone, with natural tonal variations formed during the firing process. Like real bronze, its surface will continue to evolve through use, gradually developing its own marks and character over time.

Warm bronze, deep wood grain - two tactile materials brought together in this new interpretation of TICH, creating a sense of warmth and intimacy for the autumn space.

Lấy cảm hứng từ vẻ đẹp của kim loại đã đi qua thời gian, lớp men mang sắc nâu đồng trầm ấm, với những chuyển sắc tự nhiên được tạo nên trong quá trình nung. Và cũng như đồng thật, bề mặt ấy sẽ tiếp tục thay đổi theo thời gian sử dụng, lưu lại những dấu ấn riêng của người sở hữu.
