The 2026 Morgan County Fair has come and gone, and while it looked different from the past, one thing stayed the same. When the kids needed them most, the community showed up. Fair board members, 4-H and FFA advisors, local businesses, volunteers, the sale committee, livestock buyers, and so many others came together to make the best of a very wet, very muddy situation.

As a former 4-H and FFA member who was on junior fair board, 4-H committee, and sale committee, with family that has been on senior fair board, I know how important fair week is to everyone involved. I’ve seen the work that it takes to make the fair happen in a normal year, and this year was anything but normal.

So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to every single person that made the 2026 Morgan County Fair happen for the kids. I know it wasn’t easy.
