This past week has been an incredible show of pride, resilience, courage, and community in Windsor, and I was so honoured to be a part of it. I had so many wonderful and encouraging conversations, met some incredible people, and was inspired by the way everyone came together. I want to give a HUGE thanks to the folks at who strive to make our community a safe place for everyone, and who worked their butts off this week (and the months beforehand) to pull off something magical. Thank you to and the folks at for always being so supportive, and thank you to everyone who came out and help make this week a huge success. So much love to each and every one of you ❤️

Free admission all day for Pride Parade Day 🌈

Clifton Museum Park and the Birthplace of Hockey Museum will be open free of charge Saturday, June 6 from 10 AM to 4 PM!

Stop by before or after the parade and enjoy the museums and lawn games ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who dropped in to make a macrame leaf with me at this evening! My heart is so full, and I truly had the best company throughout the evening 🥰 A special thanks to for always being so supportive! I did not get pictures of every leaf, and I’m sorry for that- especially because I would have loved to show you the most amazing non-binary leaf ever! 😍 Here’s some of the pictures I got though. It’s been so much fun celebrating Pride with West Hants Pride and Windsor Township Business Association 🥰🏳️‍🌈 This evening, I’m honoured to be partnering with Windsor Makers Studio in putting on a drop-in workshop on making macrame pride leaves. Stop in from 4pm-8pm and make a macrame leaf in pride flag colours, or the colours of your choosing! Lots of colour options available. Only $15 + tax and no studio fee! Looking forward to seeing everyone 🥰🏳️‍🌈❤️

We hadn’t realized that there is a Pride parade poster making party at Avon United Church on Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm (you should go!), and we don’t want anyone to feel rushed or like they can’t take part in different events, so we’ve opened our macrame Pride leaf event into a drop in! Stop in anytime between 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. Still $15 per person, and the studio fee is still waived 🥰 Pride week is going to be a great time, and is happy to be a sponsor 🏳️‍🌈

I love my local community studio, and I’m so fortunate that they are a safe and supportive space for us to gather and to learn from each other. I’m also very fortunate that my flag leaves are hanging in the windows 🥰 Windsor Makers Studio is a spot that we are lucky to have 🥰❤️🏳️‍🌈
