I’m sick with a cold/flu and therefore am spending Thanksgiving alone with my cat. Between sniffles and blows I’m bundled up at my desk playing with textures on my gelli plate. I’d rather be having lanb and porcetta with Zoë and the Grande’s , however, this and chicken noodles will have to do.

Some random saying that they wanted my artwork sent this instead of a normal etransfer. Scam?? I believe so. What say you? I don’t even bank with CIBC. They’re blocked. This is the second time someone has tried this on me. I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, however, I’m not a complete idiot either.

I’m developing my skillset on the gelli plate. Lots of experimenting giving me some success, some failed attempts and lots of surprises! What I love about this medium is the layers and the fact that nothing is finished unless you want it to be. There is always a way to alter my work if I am unhappy. These are just a few different things I tried. From transfers to fabric and pop tabs, the possibilities are quite boundless.
