I’ve always loathed the sound
of my voice played back to me
(what kind of accent IS that anyway?!)

So listening to this was really difficult for me,
and frankly, putting out in the world feels *really* vulnerable –
but I am also delighted to share this interview I did
with the Paul from THE POTTERS cast.

He asks generous questions and I don't hate my answers.

Happy to see Equinox getting some attention in the Seattle Times. 😁🎈

Equinox Studios has been assembling the city’s most extensive, arty enclave since it first gained a toehold in the Georgetown neighborhood in the mid-2000s.

This is the big one folks...
Once a year every studio at Equinox Studios opens their doors to the public
and it's the best "holiday" party in town!
3-9pm - for open studios, shenanigans till midnight...
next Saturday the 9th
the entire EQ Block -
I'm at 6520 5th Ave South ("the egg building")
Come inside and up the stairs...
where I'm snug at the end of the hallway.

There's performance art, live music, food trucks (mexican, BBQ, vietnamese, donuts and coffee!), 3 bars, fire pits, street performance, wood, metal, glass, leather, masks, chocolate, installations, multimedia, all of the 2D art, and obviously ceramics!

Apologies in advance when I've no time to chat - this even always overwhelms. Bring your own shopping bags to win the favour of anyone you are shopping with!

Dress warm, wear comfortable shoes -
and tell the doggos you are gonna be late!

Oh Oh and if music is your thing, swipe for the line up.

Equinox Studios is trying something new this year and we have a pop-up shop, filled with 20 or so of our artist's works... a bit of weird and wonderful for everyone on your shopping list.

My shift is tomorrow (Dec 1) from 12:00-5:00pm - come by to say hi?

Pop-up hours are an hour later on the weekends - so be mindful of that if you plan a visit. Shop is open Fri-Sunday.

This is the event of the year, with all of our studios open and a list of delights to entertain your whole crew. From chocolate - to jewellery, from woodwork to leather goods, masks and sculpture!

We are starting earlier this year to accommodate the young ones, and the ppl like me who like to be home and in their cosies by dark-o-clock in winter!

We will also have a beer garden food trucks, and oh so much live music... marching bands, and fire performances of various varieties, and shenanigans until the wee hours.

I'll be upstairs in the Golden Egg Building, with my full collection available, from tableware, plant pots, decorative trays, vases, and all the coffee cups to please your barista self - and fidgets, and votive holders... and... all of the things.

Shop my collection for a one year guarantee - or grab yourself a bargain, and go home with an experiment a wonky lip, or an decorative quirk at less than half price.

Line your stomach, pack a shopping bag, wear sensible shoes, and warm layers - and tell the dog you'll be home late.
