Good morning All!

Let's talk about attachments and "jewelry findings".

Have you ever noticed that with most jewelry the metal parts start turning colors (tarnish), turning your skin colors and irritating it? That is because most jewelry is put together with COATED BASE METALS. As you wear them the coating just rubs right off.

Those with sensitive skin must be more careful in their jewelry choices. The base metals *can* cause your skin to become red, swollen, irritated, and even infected.

Sterling silver, 14k gold, and selective brands of white gold are usually the safest. However, sometimes that is not even enough...

"HYPOALLERGENIC" is the key!!

Hypoallergenic Sterling Silver, Hypoallergenic 14k Gold and Hypoallergenic White Gold are the best choices.

I personally am one with very sensitive skin and most metals will burn off the top layer of my skin if I wear it.

When I make my jewelry, ensuring it is as safe as possible for most skin types is critically important to me. I think it matters because I think you matter.
