🎄 🎁 The Bowes Museum Christmas Market is here and so is Brown & Baxter with a collection of our beautiful homewares.
Here are some FAQ’S:
When?
16, 17 & 18 December
10:00 – 4:00
Where?
The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle. Stalls will be located in the Museum galleries & outside in the grounds.
Is it Accessible?
Yes, this year wheelchairs and buggies will be able to access our Christmas Market as we are installing tracking outside.
Who’s coming?

What’s on?
As well as the Christmas Market, included in your ticket price on the day, is entry to The Bowes Museum, including our new exhibition, Raymond Briggs: A Retrospective. There will be fun crafts and trails for little ones, happening throughout the weekend.
Will there be food?
Yes, tasty food will be sold by stall holders as well as Café Bowes, many with vegan and vegetarian options.
How much is it to enter?
£6 adult, £3 child, under 1s free. Ticket includes access to market, the Museum and Raymond Briggs: A Retrospective.
Do I pay if I have a membership?
It’s free for members and their children.
How much is parking?
£5 per vehicle. Free parking for members but you must book in advance as spaces go quickly!

Can I bring my dog?
We love seeing dogs in our grounds throughout the year and you are welcome to bring your dog to the outdoor market. However, only assistance dogs are allowed inside the Museum.
