🛑 Stop buying hummus at the store!!! 🛑It’s terrible quality and full of preservatives!

It’s so easy to make your own AND you can freeze some for next week!

All you need is a food processor or high powered blender and…

2 cups drained well-cooked or canned chickpeas, cooking liquid reserved if possible
½ cup tahini, with some of its oil
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves peeled garlic, or to taste
Juice of 1 lemon, plus more as needed
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin or paprika, or to taste, plus a sprinkling for garnish
Chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish

Place everything in the food processor and blend til
Smooth…voila!

What did you do for lunch today? Another take out meal? Meal prepping is essential to keeping consistency in your diet. Dedicated just a couple hours on a Saturday and Sunday can set you up for the entire work week and actually give you hours to spare just by being more organized! As a chef we sometimes forget about our own meals - it’s a real treat to come home from a long day on my feet and have a healthy meal I can easily reheat and enjoy guilt free (and saves me a ton of money from ordering in!).

Now you can see where I get my skills from! Homemade mushroom & pea risotto with steele head trout and pattypan squash! Missing photo is the upside down pineapple cake!! All delish!

Soaking in all the homey feels of being home with family and friends before heading back to Florida!! Sadly this trip couldn’t fit in visit to everyone I would have liked to have seen but I’m so grateful for the time I had with close friends and family!! 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

You never know who you’re going to bump into in Aspen at the Food & Wine Classic! Haven’t been star struck in a while but I had to jump at the chance to meet !!! Huge fan both as an actor and for his latest series ! Such a nice guy! Thanks for the chat and the pic!

Thomas Keller is returning to Palm Beach!! This time, to make his mark on Worth Ave and will be taking over the vacant space left by the recently retired Ta-boo.

At a young age, at the divorce of his parents, Thomas moved with his mother and two older brothers to Palm Beach, Florida from California, where his grandmother and great aunts helped raise him and his brothers.

Keller even studied briefly at Palm Beach Junior College and even got his start as a professional cook at the Palm Beach Yacht Club in 1974. Then moved to Rhode Island, working first as chef de partie at the Clarke Cooke House.

Keller returner to Florida in 1986 to open his first restaurant, the Cobbley Nob with two partners in West Palm Beach. Sadly, this concept was too sophisticated for the area and they shut after only a year.

Now, 37 years later and a handful of world famous restaurants and Michelin stars - Keller is returning to Palm Beach to open his newest restaurant on Worth Ave!

I am so excited to hear more about the concept! Any guesses or info??? This next year is going to be very monumental for Palm Beach County! So many new businesses, restaurants and buildings opening at once!
