🚨Bedroom Transformation🚨

This client dreamed of a calm sanctuary to retreat to in the evening and wake up to in the morning.

I added wood panelling, a fresh coat of paint and a textured wall covering by that glistens in the light. It’s a beauty!

Switching up cupboard handles and bedding, adding linen curtains and a tonal rug made a world of difference.

The process of creating minimal, textured artwork makes me so calm. I have been doing some exciting commissions lately. One of my absolute favourite ways to express creativity.

brings me back to this Point Piper project and it’s epic view 🤩

Did you know? : The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the world's largest steel arch bridge, totalling 1,149 metres. It took 8 years to build with 79% of the steel imported from England!

There will be non-negotiables...

There will be times when designing for a client, that they have sentimental items or absolute favourites that they want to keep as part of the new design. It’s great to acknowledge these items early on, as they may impact the colour palette, placement or furniture, budget or design direction.

For this Darling Point project, we established that artwork was the non-negotiable. Pieces had been lovingly collected over years of travel, and they were important.

So, the artwork was celebrated in every room! This image shows four TILES that I had professionally framed to look as if they are floating (even though they’re surprisingly heavy). The appears as if there is ... no glass! 😍 beautiful

For this we completely re-did the bathrooms. They needed a little love 🤍

Microcement now covers the floor and walls and has such a beautiful calming tone. I went with a textured finish - and it’s seriously to die for! 😍

Did you know? : Micro cement is a decorative, composite coating based on cement, water-based reisins, additives and mineral pigments. It is applied to surfaces in stages and usually takes around four days to complete the install process. It doesn’t need joints, so it makes cleaning and maintenance very easy.
