Neighbor lady saw me last night and said it was dangerous pulling out onto the highway from the county road, especially in a lower profile car versus a truck. I thanked her for the reminder and this morning I mowed the ditch at the intersection. Didn’t wait for someone to get hurt or for the state crew to get the mowing done.

I’m not big on the “thank a farmer” thing but if you’re a motorist who can safely see because of a nicely mowed rural intersection, it’s probably due to a landowner or farmer.

Strawberries are here!!! More strawberries are arriving this Sunday. Look for berries at multiple farm booths including Liepold, Aichele, Chang Family, and Martinez. Sweet, red, and delicious.
