God truly thought of everything! Sunny’s calf nursed off one of these back quarters more than the other so one still has some colostrum. We milk this out and freeze dry it for future calves.

We cannot believe adoption has already been a whole year. These boys are loved beyond words. So very thankful God chose us and we’re praising him for it every single day.

Our Jerseys care for each other and all the babies in such a tender way. It often reminds me of my lonely days as a newly postpartum mother searching for my herd. Now as a seasoned mother I’m still searching but needing different care than I once did. Nature finds a way of always reminding us of what’s important and maybe these cows are healing me in a way I didn’t know was needed.
