From the creator of GMK Mictlan, GMK Gurokawa is the second set from inspired by the Gurokawa aesthetic that mixes cute visuals with grotesque horror. Think Happy Tree Friends meets Cult of the Lamb. The set rides that eerie tension with mirrored novelties, soft pastels, and unsettling symmetry. It’s also the first GMK set with UV-printed gradients and a fully themeable design, letting you flip between horror and cute depending on your build.

The vibe hit me so hard I had to reimagine my original Bakeneko into a new sculpt: Bakeneko Z. A mix of Gurokawa’s creepy-cute energy and the Bakeneko’s essence, bringing a whole new creature to life. Huge thanks to V for another killer collab.

In this timeline, the Bakeneko never grew into the same yokai you remember. Instead, it was shaped by darker rituals, a playful yet eerie charm. Drawing from Cult of the Lamb’s unsettling world and ’s Gurokawa aesthetic.

This isn’t just an evolution. It’s a glimpse into what could have been. A sibling of the Nonekomata, born from the same roots but wandering a stranger, cuter, darker path.

Its first edition emerges this weekend

WAAH THIS IS MY 100TH RELEASE!

And to celebrate the big milestone, I went full Pinoy fever dream. I cooked up something fun, gross, greasy, and weirdly delicious. I turned my Bakeneko into Jollibee! But not just your friendly neighborhood bee.

Monster Hunter was the first game that truly hooked me. I’ve poured over 2500+ hours of my life into the franchise. Most of that time came from Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP) over 1300+ hours just on that one game. It wasn’t just about hunting monsters… it became part of my life. I made so many friends because of it—people from school, work, even random Friendster groups I joined just to talk about the game. Some of those people are still my closest friends today. I even taught myself the awkward-but-iconic crab claw grip just to keep up with the action.

One monster always stood out to me is the game’s flagship monster, Rathalos. The first time I took him down felt like a rite of passage—and every hunt since then still gives me that rush. So this month, while I’ve been deep into Monster Hunter Wilds (Dual Blades main here), I felt this pull to bring Rathalos to life in Bakeneko sculpt.

This will be a small tribute to the game that gave me countless memories, friendships, and moments of pure joy. Just wanted to share that love with you.

New Beginnings

I would like to start the new year with a release that’s very close to my heart… something rooted in my own nostalgia. Ever since I created Nork, it has always been my plan to craft cool castings inspired by my childhood memories.

My first Pokémon game was the Japanese version of Pokémon Red, which I borrowed from a friend. I played it on my sister’s Game Boy Pocket. I didn’t understand anything back then because I didn’t speak Japanese, but I still managed to finish the game. My first starter was Charmander, and it marked the beginning of my long relationship with Pokémon and my love for the franchise. Longtime fans of Nork know this. I finished the game two more times back then, using Squirtle and Bulbasaur as well. Such happy memories!

Now, I want to share with you the love I have for the first three starters.
