I've been experimenting with something a little different this week...

Introducing my first sea glass keyring! 💙

Made using genuine sea glass collected from the Cumbrian coastline, each piece is naturally shaped by the sea over many years, making every keyring completely unique.

One of the things I love most about creating with sea glass is finding new ways to turn these coastal treasures into something special. From frames and necklaces to now keyrings, there's always another idea waiting to be explored!

🌊 Treasures of the Day 🌊

Despite the wind, there was still plenty to discover along the Cumbrian coast today.

Some days it's not just about what you find, but about taking time to slow down, listen to the waves and enjoy being by the sea. 💙

Today's treasures included some beautiful sea glass, sea pottery and a tiny piece of cobalt blue glass that always makes my day! Finding sea glass is a little like treasure hunting – you never know what the next wave might reveal.

Every piece collected will eventually become part of a unique handmade creation, bringing a little piece of Cumbria into someone's home.

📦🌊 FIRST ORDERS ON THEIR WAY! 🌊📦

A little milestone for Heart of the Sea, Cumbria today...

My first three parcels have been carefully wrapped, packed, labelled and sent on their way! 💙

Each piece has been created using genuine sea glass and sea pottery collected from the beautiful Cumbrian coastline, then handcrafted into unique keepsakes inspired by the sea.

These parcels are test deliveries, helping me make sure everything arrives safely before I expand further. Every step of this journey is a learning experience, and I'm so grateful for the support, encouragement, shares and kind words I've received so far.

What started as peaceful beach walks searching for sea glass is slowly becoming something special. 🌊✨

🌊 A Rainy Day on the Cumbrian Coast 🌊

Grey skies, fresh sea air, and the excitement of never knowing what the tide will leave behind.

Today's beach walk brought some beautiful finds, including a stunning piece of cobalt-patterned sea pottery, a vibrant green piece of sea glass, a little sea-worn marble, and a pocket full of treasures waiting to become something special.

Every piece has its own story. Once discarded, now shaped and softened by years of waves, tides, and time.

These are the moments I love most – walking the shoreline, searching amongst the pebbles, and discovering hidden treasures from the sea. 💙
