We have new things in the shop!

2” knit elastic in black and white for $2.50/yard.
1” non-roll elastic in white for $1.50 a yard.
9” metal jeans zippers for $2.50 each.
9” nylon coil zippers in 30 different colors (!) for $1.50 each.
And a new fabric, 10oz Cotton Duck Canvas in natural (58” wide) for $7.50/yd. Perfect for jackets, pants, and bags and perfect for dying!

Our second Sewcial is coming up March 23rd!

We had such a great turnout for the first one, I can’t wait to see everyone again and look at the projects you’re working on.

To help get an idea of attendance, please pre-register at workshopdtx.com! $5 a person helps us share the cost of using this wonderful space.

If you can’t make it this time, don’t fret, we’ll be here every fourth Sunday!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our first ever Sewcial!

To say it was a success is an understatement. We had veterans and newbies, knitters and cross-stitchers and sewists, it was awesome!

Thank you also to for letting us use your space. It was perfect!

We plan to have the Sewcial every 4th Sunday if the month, 11-1pm, so add it to your calendar and come see us next month!

I’m excited to announce I’ve finally organized a Dallas social sew!

Partnering with , we’d like to invite you to join us every fourth Sunday at their space behind at for just a $5 donation.

Our first event is this coming Sunday, February 23, 11am-1pm.

Bring your project! Sew, knit, mend, crochet, or embroider, all levels are welcome. Make friends and benefit from each other’s experience to grow your skills. We’ll have a couple sewing machines for use if you don’t have or can’t bring your own.

Need a supply? Head across the hall to !
Need a snack or drink? can help you out and you can bring it over to the Sewcial!

I’m done!

I’m finally done sewing everything for this weekend’s small business fair . This set is a boxy crop with a gathered skirt and matching scrunchie, in two different cotton prints. Come see them for yourself on Saturday 11-4!

Now to move on to cooking for tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!
