Walled Gardens.

A home that refuses to be defined by a single mood.

Light, elegant, considered living spaces that open onto countryside views. A bedroom suite with its own mezzanine dressing room. And then — completely unexpectedly — a private cinema that feels like it belongs in a members club.
Every room its own world. Every detail intentional.

Most people think luxury lighting means a beautiful pendant or an expensive lamp. It can be so much more than that.

We're currently specifying a human centric lighting system for one of our projects. The concept is simple but extraordinary — the system replicates the natural progression of daylight throughout the day, from cool energising light in the morning through to warm amber tones in the evening.

Why does that matter? Because our bodies are hardwired to respond to light. It regulates our circadian rhythm — our internal clock — which controls everything from energy levels and concentration to sleep quality and mood.

In a world where most of us spend the majority of our time indoors under artificial light, a system that actively supports your biology rather than working against it isn't a luxury. It's an investment in how you feel every single day.

This is the kind of detail we think about when we say every decision is intentional.

The wall that started it all.

Old Laws Cottage, A 400-year-old courthouse with a contemporary glass extension. The moment that defines this entire project isn't in the kitchen or the bedroom. It's right here, in the hallway.

The stone you can see behind the gridwork? That's the original external wall of the cottage.

It was never meant to be seen from inside, but the glass extension changed that — suddenly, this ancient stone became an interior surface. We didn't try to hide it or smooth it over. We framed it. Literally.

Four hundred years of history, treated like the work of art it is.

This is what detail-driven design means to us.

Hill Cottage, Barlaston

A tired, unloved property with good bones and no soul. The brief was simple — give it one.

No dark drama here. No bold statements. Just quietly exceptional materials, considered lighting, and spaces that feel as good as they look.
Because sometimes luxury doesn't announce itself. It just makes you feel something the moment you walk in.

Old Laws Cottage, Withnell.

A 400-year-old village courthouse. The place where justice was once served in a small Lancashire village — now one of the most dramatic homes we've ever had the privilege of designing.

The brief wasn't just to renovate. It was to honour what this building had been, without being imprisoned by it.

A contemporary glass extension links the old to the new. But the detail that stops everyone in their tracks? The original Withnell bricks — famous, local, historic — exposed, framed in steel and brass, and backlit with marble. Not hidden. Celebrated.

These bricks built this village. They built this building. Now they're the centrepiece of its next chapter.

Dark, bold, layered, intentional. Nothing here is accidental.

Designed to sit within a space, not simply against it.

The Belmont Fringed Sofa is defined by its curved form and considered detailing — created to anchor a room with both presence and softness.

A designer’s perspective.

Sofas are often placed against walls by default, but pieces designed to be viewed from every angle can sit comfortably within a room instead.

This allows for better flow, balance and a more considered layout.
