Walnut Dresser with Serpentine Front.

Bookmatched walnut crotch veneer on drawer fronts. Carved cabriole legs with traditional ball and claw feet. Ornate carvings on the vertical corners and base rail. Original solid brass, swan neck bail pulls with brass plated back plates. Large dovetailed drawers.

This piece was professionally refinished inside and out. Delicately stripped, stained and sealed with a premium sealant. Drawers slide in and out smoothly. Great craftsmanship and built to last many more years.

French Provincial Dresser by Dixie

Meticulously painted with Melange Paints in Fablewood Mauve.
Dresser was stripped down, imperfections were removed and primed prior to painting.
Dovetailed drawers were stripped, reconditioned and lined with decorative vinyl paper. Wooden drawer glides were also reconditioned.
Original pulls were cleaned, stripped and repainted.
Dixie stamp in the drawer.
Furniture tacks were added to the feet for protection.
Drawers work perfectly. No odors. Paint finish is smooth and uniform.

Hi! I’m still here, working on commissioned pieces.In between those I have also been working on these nightstands/side tables. These two tables were once part of an old desk. The top of the desk was removed and cut to fit the tops of the tables.

Painted with Melange Paints in Traveler Blue. The resin flowers were poured, painted and applied with industrial strength glue. The dovetailed drawers were stripped, paint washed to tone the wood and sealed. All the drawers are lined with heavy duty vinyl paper. New drawer pulls in brushed gold. Feet tacks added to the bottom of both tables for added protection. Tables were also stripped and primed prior to painting.
