I inherited this Lane chest last weekend during my grandparents estate sale. It’s from 1937 which is the year my grandfather was born. It has 2 coats of paint which was fun to take off and look at that beautiful grain 😍 not sure who would have ever painted that. Had to share this one as a wonderful find ❤️

Thrifted this today for $4. I love the saucy look and the violets. I’ve never seen one like this. 🐰

I bought this at Goodwill yesterday. I decided to make a second trip down the aisle as the gal working was putting items on the shelf. This was one of the items. It's marked on the bottom Carl Sorenson. It's a little container. I don't know what I will put in it, but it's cute!

My 94 year old grandfather passed away this past thanksgiving. He and my grandmother built their house in 1967 and lived there the rest of their years. Yesterday we cleaned out the attic and found this gorgeous set of luggage. They are Samsonite and in nearly perfect condition. I don’t know what to do with them but I can’t part with them.

When I was a kid, an old man down the street owned a greenhouse. He repurposed wooden produce crates into little stacking drawer sets that he filled with nuts and bolts, etc. He gave them to my dad when he was very old and they’ve been in dad’s shop for 40+ years. I always thought they were really neat, and this year I finally finagled them away from him. I dusted them off, stacked them into a single cabinet, added a top, bottom, and feet, and filled them with art supplies. I’m obsessed!
