Three years ago, we had the privilege of hosting a Chado workshop by Japanese Tea Ceremony teacher Kaori Sensei, followed by a Polkaros Chawan-making session at our studio.

We learned to appreciate the beauty of serving with intention through the graceful rituals of the Japanese tea ceremony. It was such a joy to use our handcrafted pieces to serve matcha and wagashi to our guests 🍵✨

Since then, we’ve expanded our Chawan workshop into a full Matcha Set series—designed for you to create your very own tea tools by hand.

We can’t wait to see what everyone will create!

Here’s a little pot I made inspired by our kitty Lester 🐾 Some of you might remember the time we rescued a white kitty who surprised us by being pregnant! She gave birth to three healthy kittens in my home office. Lester is one of the three, and the only one we ended up keeping. Swipe to the last pic to see how much he’s grown! ❤️
