I guess it was inevitable that I would never be truly happy with this one. The canvas itself had something going on with it where the paint just wouldn't stick, and I was too stubborn to give up and grab a new one. It's nothing like I wanted it to be, but despite all of frustration and tedious issues, I can say that it is done, and I don't completely hate it. I might try something similar on a new canvas to see if I can get my vision to be realized, but for now:

I haven't been out in my studio for quite a while so I lost what I was doing. I cannot figure out the sails for this ship, so I threw a bit of a tissy... And I might have stumbled onto something.... 🤔

I have fallen in love. These sweet babies belong to my dear friend.
I know that my artwork is all over the place, I don't even know what I'm up to most of the time, hahaha, but I'll tell you this... I was happy every single second working on these darling puppies.❤️

Well, one thing I like about my natural style is the eventual outcome.... The thing that I DON'T like is how I don't pay attention to what I'm doing! I slap paint around all w***y nilly with my fingers, brushes, paper towels, rulers, random other things, and am pretty much just hoping that it will come together at some point. 🤣 This painting takes me back to The Pact, my dragon, where every single time I worked on it, everything moved. I mean, I realize these are sails, but I can't help but ask: can you PLEASE stay still so I can paint you?

This piece is an imagination tickler, and it's going better now that I have decided to go back to my roots: finger painting. Brushes and I do not always get along, ha! I'm much happier with the shark and everything else I have started to work on without a brush.
I still think this one is going to be very cool. Those of you that have stuck with me on my whole journey can probably predict a lot or changes 🤣
After this one, I might take a break from commissions and go back to just painting on a whim, but never hesitate to reach out ❤️
