๐Today we celebrate the FEAST of the EXALTATION OF THE CROSS ๐
โจ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ is a miraculous century-old image of Santo Cristo de Lubao lovingly called by devotees as "APU" enshrined at the Santa Cruz Church in Sta. Cruz, Lubao, Pampanga. It is believed that the crucifix is given as a gift from the Spanish conquistador Martin de Goiti to the Kapampangan Chieftain Datu Macabulus and local inhabitants of Lubao upon conversion to Christianity on September 14, 1571, the Feast of the Triumph of the Holy Cross. It was declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the Philippine National Museum in 2015 because of its ecclesiastical, historical and cultural importance.
