2024 is such a critical year for our senior and for our country. Women make the difference in who wins the presidency. I voted for this girl, my daughter. I voted for all the women in our country that should have all the rights in the world to do what they want with their own body!!! I voted for the little girls that need to know they can do ANYTHING they put their mind to AND they can do it with class and grace.

LIFE IS CRAZY right now!!!!! 🤪 Every corner of my life is simply surviving by the minute. It simply makes my head hurt 🤯looking, seeing, feeling all the chaos.

As much as I would have liked to be somewhere else this Memorial Day 🇺🇸Weekend, I am taking the time to straighten up some of the areas in my house that have gotten out of control: the laundry room! 🧺My closet! 👚My office! 🗂️ My kitchen! 🧑🏼‍🍳so that we can hit the ground running into these last few weeks before SUMMER! ☀️ (Plus…the kid has a golf ⛳️ tournament.)

🖋️Gosh, I haven’t sketched in a long time! It definitely helps me visualize a space.
🖋️ We are working on a client’s bonus room update and we have two dormer nooks that we are running through different ideas on how we are going to use the space.
🖋️ One, we are thinking a desk for those “work-from-home” days or the craft project that will take a few days to construct and you want to be able to leave it out. The other “ a “reading nook” to escape to when you just have to find out what happens next in the book and you don’t want to be bothered!
🖋️ To unify the spaces, I want to have like roman shades as well as like sconces on the walls. Wood will be painted in white like the trim and will also add cohesiveness. 2 drawers on each built-in and matching hardware.
🖋️ What do you think? Should I add anything?

As in the words of Alanis Morissette, isn’t it ironic… the last post I uploaded was of a beautiful kitchen, and just a few weeks after posting my own kitchen had a pipe burst under the sink flooding the room! We are currently listening to the floors being torn out. 😭

With time, my own kitchen will be put back together again, but for now, let’s just admire this beautiful kitchen one more time!
