I am in the process of converting a swinging bench I made 6 years ago into a bench for a deck. I had initially made it as a wedding gift for my friends Anthony and Amber 6 years ago, but kids happen and the frame that this used to swing from now houses 2 kids swings! Now they will still be able to sit on this bench and watch their kids swing!
Check out the tool I made for holding logs while working them with the log tools.

Here are some photos of some of the projects I have done this spring and summer. A map frame, dagger board for a wind surf board, some art, an easel, playhouse and swings for my Daughter, and much more! Finally got this log corner shelf installed. What an impression it makes walking into the clients home and seeing this! It was a great opportunity to design and build something so grand for her living room! Love the challenges!

Méyla wants a toddler Muskoka chair of her own! These sweet seats are going to be some awesome Christmas gifts for some lucky toddlers! I assembled 1, 3 more to go!

It has been a busy week so far, I am trying to get all of my orders done before it gets too cold! Almost done the log corner shelf, I added live edge cedar faces on the shelves to match the log. I made a couple small floating accent shelves, and wood burned a growth chart!

I am making some good progress on the log corner shelf build. I have the log temporarily installed in my garage level and plumb so I can fit the shelves around it. Those 2 braces will not be there when I install it at the clients house. Stay tuned for more updates!

I whipped up this quick cooler stand because Méyla can reach the handles of the water cooler, she won't be able to any more! Varathane espresso stain was a perfect match to blend with our flooring!

Cooler box build all done! Made completely from reclaimed wood! Reclaimed wood adds nice character and the contrasts really pop in the different woods!

Hey everyone, it has been a long summer building my workshop and settling into our new home. I am happy to show you the first project to come out of the new, not quite set up yet, shop! This cooler build is for a stag and doe this Saturday and is part of the door prize along side a bbq! I will post a completion picture when it is all wrapped up.

Sorry about the lack of posts recently, we just moved in to our new home and have been busy settling in and doing renovations. I am happy to have our log bed all set up again! Started building in Alberta and finished here in Ontario. Poplar, spalted birch, and cedar are what was used to create this beast!
