The primary architectural strategy at YS House will be carving out a tall courtyard at the centre of the penthouse. Beyond allowing light to filter through the centre of the home, the courtyard also opens unexpected views between private spaces. Always rewarding to be on site and execute long nurtured design ideas.

Congratulations on your teashop journey . We are proud to have been a part of your shop opening at Pacific Place. Hope that the plywood displays, stained with persimmon juice, grew richer in colour with time, alongside you and served you well. Looking forward to your next steps ahead!

The teashop at Pacific Place marked our third collaboration with Green Ginkgo Tea. Plywood shelves were realized with , who patiently tested the Japanese persimmon stain until it was just right.

Industrial estates in the Pearl River Delta are rapidly changing as manufacturers retool or relocate. Building narrative is pleased to work with the changing urban fabric as we reimagine the future of a former garment manufacturing complex in Shenzhen.

Our Basao teashop in Xiamen is a deep and layered space. Instead of interior walls, the layering is achieved by a sequence of large furniture pieces. These pieces were the subject of our most intense investigation and development.
