Oaxaca has an incredible food scene. Most of what you eat at is locally grown. Beyond the food though is the incredible setting. Its open ceiling is crafted with shade cloth that’s acts as rain chains. In the event of rain the water channels across the pleats and spills like a waterfall into their gorgeous water feature. The food is fresh, bright, creative and the space is reflective of the environment. Absolutely superb!

I was not sure what to expect from the . It was so much fun! It was hard not to be happy surrounded by cotton candy pink walls and endless scoops of ice cream. I didn’t try the Chicago Hotdog flavor cause, umm, no 😂 but the nondairy oat milk ice cream was fantastic! Two fun facts I learned, Dove Bars were created in Chicago and President Obama’s first job was slinging scoops at a Baskin Robbins.
