I have had my eye on this paper for so long, waiting for just the right piece of furniture to put it on. When I needed something for a wall in our dining room, I thought this was just perfect, given I’m a redhead and also have raised monarchs. One large canvas and some craft paints with lots of blending and here she is!! I dirtied up the edges and some of the lighter areas for blending in the seam of the paper. Really pleased with the end result.

For my local followers, I have this dresser available. Painted for the appearance of brushed metal, several colors were used with a crosshatch brushing (a favorite faux finish of mine). The dresser was hand made by a gentleman in the early 1900s. I’ve worked on plenty of pieces and never found one as solid as this, right down to the brass casters. Commented and I can send you more details.
