The Story Untold: A Painting of Devotion, A Gift of Gratitude🌟🙏
Sometimes, a commission is not just about colours and brushstrokes; it’s about translating a soul’s emotion onto canvas. This piece was created with that very reverence.
When my client approached me for this painting, his vision was deeply moving. He wanted to gift something timeless to his Guruji—a symbol of his ultimate respect and devotion as a disciple. The theme of the Gita Updesh, where Arjuna surrenders completely to Lord Krishna, was chosen by him as the perfect representation of that bond.
This painting became a medium to express what words often fail to convey—the gratitude of a student for his guiding light, his Guru.
Seeing Arjuna at Krishna’s feet, surrounded by the chaos of the battlefield but finding perfect peace in surrender, mirrors the journey of every seeker under a Guru’s protection. It was an honour to paint this, knowing it was a bridge of gratitude from a disciple to his master.
This isn’t just an artwork; it’s a piece of a legacy, a prayer in paint.
