Look, as we get older, the eyes – they start to worry us a bit, no? But listen, it’s not the end of the world. With a few simple habits, you can really protect them. Here’s what you can do:
1. Get your eyes checked regularly
Seriously, don’t skip this. Go to an eye doctor once in a while. Things like cataracts or glaucoma – if you catch them early, it’s much easier to deal with.
2. Eat smart, it helps
What you eat matters. Carrots for vitamin A, citrus for vitamin C, spinach for antioxidants – it’s all good for your eyes. Simple.
3. That blue light from screens – be careful
If you’re stuck in front of a computer or phone all day, at least use blue-light glasses or a screen filter. And take a break once in a while – your eyes aren’t machines.
4. Wear sunglasses outside
The sun here is no joke. UV rays damage your eyes, so just put on sunglasses when you’re out. Easy.
5. Sleep enough – yes, really
If you don’t sleep, everything gets worse, including your eyes. A good night’s rest helps them recover. It’s not a luxury, it’s maintenance.
