This teak root piece found its new home this week.

A pair of woven pendants over a solid wood dining table, and the whole room changes character after dark.

A few things worth knowing if you are thinking about doing this at home.🏠 Two pendants suit a table longer than 1.6m, and hanging them at slightly different heights makes them read as one considered choice rather than two separate fittings. The bottom of the shade should sit 75 to 90cm above the table top, which is low enough to light the food and high enough to see the person across from you. The open weave matters too, because it throws pattern 😍 onto the ceiling instead of a flat pool of light.

We asked Candice whether a customer has ever come back to tell her what a piece meant to them.
