Hey friends! 🤗 A BIG shoutout to everyone who supported me here. I've decided to bring all my favourite things - crafts, chaos, and candid mom life - into ONE space. It only took 3 rainy evenings by the heater to crochet this SCOODIE. But it's so warm and fluffy that my 6yo has claimed it until she gets her own, smaller, kid version! I like how this is a hood and cowl/neck warmer in one and that the yarn is so soft and chunky. I bought a few skeins of this yarn on a whim (because it is on sale at the moment) at .za and only when I had it on my hook did I realize how incredibly soft it is. Love these little wins! 🥰 If you're in SA....keep warm! 😶‍🌫️

I made a bunch of cute daisy flower coasters with cotton yarn. Simply because it makes me happy to look at these bright colours in pretty flower shapes! At the moment, my Little uses it to practice her adding and subtracting (we are up to sums of 8 by her 2nd term of first grade. Much prettier than the wooden pegs were were using before! 🥰

Popped into the wool shop the other day for one ball of blue yarn I needed. As I was paying, the sales assistant showed me the new Making Everyday Mandela day yarn that just came in, and the colours were fab! I took 2 big balls home. This is a DK weight acrylic yarn and is part of the 67 Blankets project by Kismet yarn.
Look how pretty it works up! I've since finished one half of my next cardigan and have BIG weekend plans to work on the second half 🤗

First post of 2025! It had to be my current WIP. It's the Boho Triangle Shawl by . Flowy. Easy. Sexy. Casual. Or elegant....definitely lives up to it's name. I used a mixed selection of cotton balls and all in different colours and am just about to add a soft PINK fringe, and then I'll be rocking my shawl everywhere while it's still summer. But on a breezy day so the edges can billow in the soft breeze for extra main character energy 😆

Almost forgot to post about this Gingerbread Dress I made for her class Christmas party! The upsizing made me a bit anxious but luckily it fitted my 6yo. She wore it a few times by Christmas and looked so adorable everytime! Merry Christmas to one and all!
