Founded in 2017 as The Rustic Square and Now rebranded as Jean Thomas & Co. is a Cape Town based candle making experience as well as many other hand curated products and activities. With a candle making studio located in the Northern parts of the Mother City. What started out as a “side Hustle” has now grown into successful small business enterprise successfully run by owner Hayley Perry
Our services include Workshops and Education, offering guests the opportunity to learn and start their own small business as well as fun and interactive craft classes, our own curated Private Label Candle Fragrance and Beauty Product Collections, Contract Manufacturing under “White Label” policy for businesses that would like to expand their product range, or a new business looking for branded products and lastly, The Mobile Candle Bar or Mobile Fragrance Bar for corporate clients and so many other types of events....no limit to what we can cater for. Our event clients enjoy our unique experience for client appreciation, team building activities, parties and so many more in a private function setting like baby showers. We are not limited to the adults only, we customize for the kids too!
Our ethos is to use natural products in our own private label range JT & Co. and being a small business enterprise, to support as many of the smaller local businesses within South Africa. We care deeply about animals and the less fortunate, so we give back to charities through our BRO-SIS candle range which was collaborated with my brother through his hardship of living on the streets and overcoming his addiction through working with animals in various rescue organizations. The torch for this project has now been passed onto my son and daughter...my every reason to keep pushing forward and growing this little business of mine.
