I select, cut, iron, organise, stitch each wallet with care and attention to detail. Each wallet bears 'by helge' tag as your sign of authenticity: the entire product was made by me. The 'traditional' wallet - R200 ea

3. The Mark La Da Gama Shweshwe wallet - R240 ea
This is a 'top o
f the range' wallet where the panels and lining are made using Da
Gama shweshwe. Shweshwe is 100% cotton. Consider dry cleaning as a recommendation, depending on preference.
4. I started this range in 2013 and is a pocket size wallet. It has a slot for notes running the length of the top, and within the inside fold there is a slot for cards on one side, and coins on the other. Non rust studs have been used where appropriate. Each wallet:

is unique - no two are identical
braids have been preshrunk
all wallets are lined with Da Gama shweshwe
has a double layer of iron-on vilene
has a pouch for notes, cards and coins
the card and coin pouch has a stud flap
the silver studs are non rust (brass based, not tine based)
the 'traditional' wallet can be folded to fit the pocket. it is NOT RECOMMENDED to fold the 'passport' wallet due to the extra lining
should you need to iron the wallet, iron over a cotton cloth as braids may be HEAT SENSITIVE. take care of your wallet and you will get many years of wear out of it!
