Shabby Chic - icandy was born out of my personal love for all things that is well worn and dilapidated by transforming it into a fresh, rejuvenated beautiful inspired Shabby Chic icandy piece. It is about adding a bit of glitz, funk, glamour and a little bit of je nais ce quoi. They are lack lustre items been brought back to life. My Shabby Chic - icandy look maybe unstructed and lacking in formal rules, but this timeless aesthetic can add an effortless elegance to your home. I use elaborate international & local paint & appliques depicting my signature style. No perfection, but rather imperfections. My passion extends to all home decor items showing the beauty of imperfections, the allure of time-worn objects, the appeal of simple practical pieces, the dilapidated elegance, the worn grandeur of faded glamour, used, well-loved overlooked beauty lurking beneath the surface. Previously loved retro, vintage, second-hand and modern pieces as well as unique accessories and knick-knackery.
