Do you like my fabulous wool and clay earrings? 😉😉😉

I made it from recycled wool I got as a gift from a friend (all the way from Australia) plus a pair of blue polymer clay earrings I bought from a friend in the Free State some time ago. 🙏

I literally made two bold round shapes with free motion stitches, washed away the Avalon Plus and allowed it to dry. The Avalon made it hard.

What I love about this technique is that it remains light in weight, no matter how big you make it.

Well… I finally did it. I painted over the wildflower mural in our living room.
For two years, this wall was a joyful explosion of colour — bold, creative, and completely “me.” But lately, I found myself longing for something calmer. Something that lets the rest of the space — and life happening inside it — feel a little different.
So, the flowers made way for Martin’s Move Wall Paint… and the entire room instantly feels lighter, more spacious, and wonderfully peaceful.
It’s funny how our homes evolve with us. What once felt exciting can start asking for quiet instead. And that’s the beauty of creativity — we’re allowed to change things.
Now tell me honestly… would you have been brave enough to paint over it? 🙂
