From tiny insects and mysterious fungi to rare species, and the hidden connections of nature - we want to see the Gouritz Biosphere through your eyes.

⭐️ Tema : " Eendag lank-lank gelede ....... " ( Ontwerp jou eie sprokieskarakter )
⭐️ Wie : Al die leerlinge in Gr 5-7 van Hessequa-streek
⭐️ September 2026 word al hierdie kunswerke uitgestal in die Heidelberg Biblioteek tydens die Hessequa Harmonie-fees!

Bernece von Molendorff, Stilbaai

" Art has been part of my life from the tender age of 5 when I won an award at a children's art competition. It has become a lifelong passion since then, although I only started a painting career late in life.

I have been involved in various forms of art and crafts. I am proud to say that many of my art works are hanging in homes all over the world.

Life has taken me on many journeys and being an entrepreneur all my life, myself and my daughter-in-law, Annalie saw an opportunity in opening our own art studio, Artizan , located at 50 Oslerstreet, Stilbaai East. We exhibit the talent of many local and international art works as well as some of my art.

I believe to be successful in life, you must have the vision, courage, determination, perseverance and patience to learn from every aspect that life has to offer. "

⭐️ MEET A HESSEQUA-ARTIST ! ⭐️

Dina Grobler of Firefly Studio in beautiful Heidelberg!

" Ek groei op as n Vrystaatse plaasmeisie wat van kleins af n liefde het vir die natuur, grond, goggas en diere. My akademiese opleiding begin na skool met musiek aan die UFS, daarna verpleegkunde aan die US met spesialisasie in Psgiatrie. Met 3 woelige seuntjies in Durban, begin ek met keramiek klasse aan die UD.

In 2008 met 3 seuns op universiteit in Bloemfontein, begin ek op 50 met my graad in "Fine Arts" en n lewensdroom word waar. Na die voltooiing van my graad in 2013, begin ek met my eie Firefly Studio Kuns Akademie en word ook aangestel as dosent in Beeldhou aan die UFS

My passion is to inspire people through art. I love teaching and give monthly classes in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, Raku, printmaking and African pitfiring. "
