🪴 Behind every ShePots creation is a little bit of experimenting.

Different mixes. Different ratios. Different textures.

We’re testing, tweaking and learning to find that perfect mix that gives our handcrafted cement décor the strength, finish and character we’re looking for.

Because getting the final piece right starts long before the mould is filled. 🤍

Mix. Test. Adjust. Repeat.

That’s the messy part of making something handmade — and honestly, one of our favourite parts.

Day 3 – Still Drying… Apparently Good Things Take Time 🏺⏳

While our creations continue their extended spa retreat, let’s do a quick recap of the journey so far:

✔️ Had an idea
✔️ Bought the cement
✔️ Mixed the cement
✔️ Poured the cement
✔️ Had a minor medical emergency involving Lady and one of her dots 🚑😂
✔️ Performed successful surgery
✔️ Waited
✔️ Waited some more
✔️ Checked if they were dry
✔️ They were not

So here we are on Day 3, still patiently waiting for our little cement babies to decide they’re ready to face the world. 🌿

The excitement is building, the curiosity is killing us, and the urge to demould them early is becoming a daily battle. 👀

💬 Be honest… are you the patient type, or would you have peeked inside the moulds already?

Day 2 – or Day 1 of drying 🤷🏻‍♀️

We had a mini emergency, but no worries, everything went well in the operating room. Lady almost had to part with one of her dots, but thanks to some quick thinking, a steady hand, and a little bit of cement surgery, she’s expected to make a full recovery. 🏥🏺😂

For now, the patients are resting comfortably while we wait for them to finish drying. The suspense is real, and so is the temptation to peek before they’re ready. 👀

🏺 First Pour: Complete! 🏺

The cement has been poured, and now comes the hardest part… waiting! ⏳✨

There’s something exciting about seeing an idea go from a mould and a bag of cement to a piece that could soon have a place in someone’s home or garden. 🌿

Not every pour will be perfect, and that’s all part of the journey. We’re learning, creating, and enjoying every step along the way.

Now we wait for the magic to happen before the big reveal. 👀🤍

🏺 Day 1: The Journey Begins

Today marks the first pour for ShePots! 🌿

What starts as a simple mix of cement, patience, and creativity will soon become handcrafted pots and décor pieces designed to bring character to your home and garden.

There may be a few imperfections, a lot of learning, and plenty of cement dust along the way, but every great creation starts somewhere. 🤍

Here’s to new beginnings, trying something different, and turning ideas into something beautiful.

Follow along as we build ShePots, one pour at a time. ✨

💬 What would you love to see us create first? Planters, trinket trays, candle holders, garden décor, or something completely different? Let us know in the comments!
