Sonneblom Foundation has been aware for a long time of a girl who tried to take her own life at a very young age. She started playing netball again as part of her remedial process and was elected to join a school sports tour. Unfortunately, that brought with it some financial expenditure, of which her parents could afford the larger part, but still had a shortfall. Rather than depriving the girl of this opportunity, Sonneblom Foundation immediately assisted with the shortfall upon learning of the money needed. However, we need to replenish reserves.

Donations required to cover this expense: R750.00

Current donations covering this expense: R600.00

Since this is a once-off request, it will be marked as 'completed" once our target amount is reached. Any surplus amounts received before we indicate it as completed will be allocated to our next priority in the queue.

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ACCOUNTANT (SAIPA)

You will work remotely from anywhere in South Africa.
You will manage the accounts of two entities: Sonneblom Foundation NPC and Passionate about Websites (PTY) Ltd, our primary sponsor.
We use SAGE. We will only need you to help troubleshoot when things do not balance, and ensure all is ready to hand over to our registered representative to submit all to the relevant authorities, thus requiring limited hours from your side.
Should your practice not have a website, we will ask our primary sponsor to help you with one at a minimal cost.
As a non-profit, we cannot offer you any remuneration.

R U a Virtual Assistant?
If so, please read; if not, please share…
We need virtual assistants to support our directors & executive volunteers, beneficiaries, sponsors, and donors with both scheduled and ad hoc tasks on a pro bono basis. We will count on a couple of hours of your time per week. You must have proficient MS Office skills, access to an MS Windows PC/laptop, and internet. Tasks will include, amongst others, updates on spreadsheets, handling emails, compiling contact lists from research, and WhatsApp calls.
Please help us save the lives of teenagers in crisis.
We cannot offer you cash compensation. We will ensure you, or your business, are recognised as one of our valued volunteers on our website. If we find another way to compensate you, we will consider it.
