It's finally here the dinosaur series that dinosaur fans have been waiting for, FOR MONTHS!
BBC – PREHISTORIC PLANET arrived this week!
The legendary successor for Walking with Dinosaurs (the original) has some very big footprints to fill. I cannot wait to clock off and indulge in some well-deserved deep appreciation this evening.
However, after I was hurt by Walking Dinosaurs 3D and crushed again by Jurassic World, I find myself afraid this to see what has done with my beloved dinosaurs.
As a paleo-artist, these types of documentaries can be cultural milestones, that linger for decades. They can be a beautiful culmination of decades of scientific discovery, technological advancement and artist exploration in the field of fascinating dinosaur reconstruction. Sometimes that can just be so crushing when they have not reflected the dynamic community you love.
Unlike Star Wars fans ( ), I have had to resist the urge to watch this premier all WEEK. So please join me tonight as I watch the first episode tonight!
