Three things I look at when designing your home:
1. Space Planning
You can have the most beautiful finishes, furniture and décor, but if the space planning isn’t right, the room will never feel right. We carefully consider circulation, functionality and line of sight to ensure the space flows naturally and feels effortless to move through.
2. Lighting
Overhead lighting alone often creates a cold, impersonal atmosphere. We layer ambient, decorative and accent lighting to create warmth, depth and visual interest throughout the home. A well-designed space should feel inviting long after the main lights are switched off. We’re creating homes, not clinical environments.
3. Scale & Proportion
Every element should be appropriately scaled in relation to both the room and the surrounding furnishings. A rug that’s too small, an oversized sofa in a compact space, or a media unit that’s undersized in relation to the television can make a room feel disconnected. When scale and proportion are considered correctly, every element works together to create a cohesive and balanced interior.
The most successful interiors aren’t the ones with the most expensive finishes. They’re the ones where every detail has been considered.
