Gorgeous quality preloved furniture transformed to must have items at reasonable pricing

Rare find mid-century must have occasional chairs in solid oak. Chairs were stained black previously, so here and there are still traces of their history…

Wood has been stripped, so is raw. Joins were glued where required and brand new foam and upholstery fabric in a neutral greyish-green 100 % cotton bull denim was used to bring these beauties back to life. May I say the upholsterer did a fabulous job!👌

(SOLD) Ever popular and sought after Mid century occasional chairs in solid hardwood (possibly sapele mahogany/saligna). The chairs are structurally solid and in great vintage condition with minor flaws (to be expected from chairs from the 1960’s). See pics.

Wood was stripped and sanded and left raw, giving you the opportunity to seal or leave as is. Hard wearing webbing which will last a lifetime was fitted.

Upholstery cushions have seen better days, but can be used as an interim solution. Removable upholstery cushions are always popular due to its low maintenance.

Chairs are larger than normal, but not bulky

(SOLD) Rare find Mid century occasional chairs in great original vintage condition. Their Sapele Mahogany frames are structurally solid and very well made. Brand new high quality webbing that will last a lifetime was fitted.

Upholstery is not new, but clean and all in tact.

(SOLD) Mid century chairs are becoming more and more scarce, let alone chairs of this calibre already refurbished (solid sapele mahogany frame)!

The gorgeous beauties are sturdy, solid and very well made. They have a lot of slats, so it was very labour intensive to strip them to raw - done with my own 2 hands! One chair was also stained red, so it needed a double strip! They now have new high quality webbing, so they are a blank canvas awaiting your unique touch (new upholstery cushions)!

The old upholstery cushions (see last pic) are included. I didn’t want to include them in all the pics, cause they don’t do the chairs justice!

(SOLD) These rare find mid century beauties have been waiting soooo long, but eventually got their turn to get a makeover!

The Beazilian walnut (Imbuia) frames were stripped from the old varnish, sanded and oiled.

Old upholstery was stripped and replaced with new webbing, foam and a neutral textured fabric. Fabric has a hue of green, (if I could give it a name I would call it Pistachio Cream) but would easily fit in effortlessly in most interiors.

(SOLD) A gorgeous pair of mid century occasional chairs in great vintage condition. Minor damage to 2 of the legs as shown on pics - nothing affecting the chair’s structure.

Upholstery is not brand new, but in mint condition. Both chairs upholstered in the same colour fabric, but different patters on fabric. They are not as low as most mid century chairs and rather petite, so would be great for a small space.

Entremely rare find gorgeous mid century occasional chairs in solid Brazilian Walnut (Imbuia). I have not seen chairs in such mint condition and so well made in a very long time.

The frames have been refurbished (stripped, sanded and oiled) completely. They are solid, heavy and sturdy - not a single squeeck or move. These beauties will have to be mentioned in your will, cause they will last another lifetime! New very strong bottom support straps were fitted. Put your stamp on them by choosing new upholstery that suits your interior, taste and budget.

Current brown upholstery cushions are all in tact, but old and requires replacement. Removable cushions make them easy to maintain - just pop the covers in your washing machine. Scatters are not included or for sale.

A recent challenge with a great solution!

These gorgeous mid century chairs had little to no bottom support, so we had to improvise and came up with a practical and visually pleasing solution.

The owner of the chairs was very surprised and pleased with the outcome! 👏
