“A doctor who paints?” Yes!
The basis of art is trusting the process. As a doctor in Zimbabwe, much of my path to professional actualization has so far been determined by the social dogma of others, rather than by my own passion, proficiency, merit, or work ethic as it ought to. So art remains my OUTLET. Here in this space, I control the process, my effort produces a desired outcome, my work undeniably speaks for itself…it rewards itself, my talent and passion is never wasted. So yes, I’m a doctor who paints, and I will never stop because art has never stopped rewarding me.
