Entry Description:
Artifact, a speakeasy bar concealed within BaseHall Central's basement in Hong Kong, draws inspiration from subterranean cisterns. Its design merges architectural finesse with creative lighting, promising patrons an extraordinary and ethereal ambience. Guests are welcomed by circular windows resembling industrial pipes, adorned with digital light art, initiating an immersive architectural and lighting journey. Throughout the bar, strategically placed lights accentuate bold architectural structures, while a surreal circular skylight bathes the space in a soft, sunset-like glow, enhancing the sensory experience. The design extends to private rooms, maintaining a theatrical atmosphere with pipe-like windows emitting radiant hues reminiscent of sunset light.

Sustainability Approach:
The project prioritizes sustainability by sourcing 90% of lighting fixtures locally, employing long-lasting LED technology with easily maintainable and replaceable components. Energy-efficient COB modules and SMD LED strips are utilized, along with a dimming control system and lighting software.
