I feel truly gratified to be included among the 50 incredible creatives shaping the UAE in the +971 publication.
In an industry that has evolved to be heavily run by PR machines, hype makers , marketing agencies, I have always leaned into the storytelling that takes its own sweet time, hence the name “Lento”. It may not always be loud, but you can always trust it lasts and is real.
To all the upcoming generations: it does not matter which path you take, all i say is to stay grounded, stay humble but stay hungry and allow your work to do the talking, not the press release. Most importantly, as always, keep it authentic and keep creating.
Thanks Chef Mohammad Orfali for the write-ups, honoured to be featured next to chef Sahar Al Awadhi , a world class and one the few culinary creators who inspire me– Myrna Ayad alongside the amazing team that worked on this beautiful book, a truly remarkable job.
