Istanbul Installation by our amazing students

We learned how to work with draping fabrics, combine flowers and materials by color, texture and scale, fill arches, and create volume using accessible materials — plus plenty of practical details that make large-scale installations work

Amsterdam: 7–9 November
Dubai: 21–23 November

Look closely — not everything in these pictures is what it seems 👀

There’s still a belief that “real” florists only work with fresh flowers. We don’t agree.

Faux florals can offer something fresh flowers simply can’t: they stay exactly where you put them, for exactly as long as you need them. And when the quality is right, they look incredibly realistic.

For large-scale installations, hot climates and long events, this can be a real advantage — especially when you need the design to look just as good at the end as it did at the beginning.

For us, it’s not about choosing sides. It’s about choosing what works best for the project. Fresh or faux — both have their place.

What do you think about artificial flowers?
