Bashaar A Trefi . Independent Interior Designer I love design. I've been an interior designer in Dubai since 2005.

Design Quote | Complicated Simple
"Design is so simple, that’s why it’s so complicated." -- Paul Rand

I think every designer in every field can attest to this. After working on the design step-by-step and caring for all details we often look at the final outcome and we say "how did I do that?" It looks simple but a lot of work went in! for this and more pls visit https://www.bbinteriorsstudio.com/post/design-quote-complicated-simple

Paul Rand (born Peretz Rosenbaum; August 15, 1914 – November 26, 1996) was an American art director and graphic designer, best known for his corporate logo designs, including the logos for IBM, UPS, Enron, Morningstar, Inc., Westinghouse, ABC, and NeXT. He was one of the first American commercial artists to embrace and practice the Swiss Style of graphic design.

I changed the original layout of the master bathroom to make it more interesting and to utilize the space better.Design-wise it complemented the bedroom’s style with the marble wall and flooring frames, and the classicchandeliers. The metal inserts in the walls’ frames are extruded a bit outside as a fine detail.

Creative Furniture | Fun-station

Very simple yet very creative workstation!

The look is so modern and sleek with pleasant finishes and colors, but beyond that is this fun multi-propose divider acting as legs, storage, planter, and hosting electrical sockets in addition to its original function which is dividing the workstation and creating some privacy.

Brilliant!

When I started communicating the master bedroom design with AR and Maryam I was positive that it would look somewhat unique. They wanted a cozy, fresh, and elegant room; a luxurious relief at the end of a day!

The focal point in my design, once one enters the room, is the wall cladding behind the bed. The wood is mattewith pronounced crown-cut open grains. A perfect backdrop for the bed that had a dark turquoise headboardand body.

Since the dressing room was too small and enough only for the cloths and outfits, and in order to achieve visualbalance in the room, I took few centimeters from the opposite side of the space to great extra storage withwooden doors similar in texture, material, and design to the wood cladding. In between the extra hidden wardrobes I felt it would be interesting to create a seating niche cladded withpanels in the same dark turquoise fabric of the bed.
