Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is redefining luxury travel.
Carved into dramatic desert cliffs along the Red Sea, Desert Rock offers a rare balance of raw landscape and refined architecture. Gulf Line International supplied the lighting for the project, carefully enhancing the resort’s natural textures while preserving the tranquillity of its surroundings.

The lighting scheme was designed to respect the desert environment — subtle, layered and low-impact — ensuring pathways, villas and shared spaces glow gently after sunset without overpowering the night sky.

In destinations like this, lighting is not about spectacle. It’s about harmony.

Ramadan evenings in Abu Dhabi are defined by atmosphere.
We are delighted to see Zuma Abu Dhabi featured among the capital’s standout iftar destinations for 2026.

Gulf Line International supplied the lighting for the venue, contributing to the warm, immersive setting that defines Zuma’s dining experience. Carefully calibrated lighting enhances depth, texture and contrast across the space, from intimate seating areas to the dynamic robata counter.

Modernism, Restored with Meaning
Congratulations to Architectus on receiving the World Monuments Fund/ Knoll Inc. Modernism Prize 2026 for the restoration of Africa Hall in Addis Ababa.

Completed after a decade-long restoration, Africa Hall stands as one of the most important expressions of modern architecture on the African continent. Originally designed by Arturo Mezzedimi, the building was conceived not only as a modernist icon, but as a physical embodiment of openness, unity, and diplomacy. A vision that remains deeply relevant today.

Through meticulous restoration of structure, art, furniture, and material detail, alongside carefully integrated contemporary systems, Africa Hall has been renewed as a working stage for African diplomacy and cultural exchange.

Gulf Line International supported the project as lighting control system integrator, supplying, testing and commissioning the control systems that enable the building to function as a contemporary diplomatic venue.

From the grand Assembly Hall to public and exhibition areas, the lighting control strategy ensures adaptability for high-level summits, cultural events and daily operations. Precision dimming, scene setting and system integration allow the architecture to respond to different moments without altering its historic fabric.

In landmark restorations, control is as important as illumination. We are proud to have contributed to a project where technology quietly supports history.

Soft ambient layers, controlled brightness and carefully positioned fixtures help maintain visual comfort, reduce glare and preserve uninterrupted views across the shoreline.

The result is an environment that moves effortlessly from sunlit afternoons to golden-hour aperitifs and late evenings, all while keeping the focus on experience rather than effect.

Recently highlighted by Vogue Arabia as one of Dubai’s best beach clubs, La Cantine Beach is a reminder that when lighting is done right, it doesn’t announce itself, it simply elevates everything around it.

Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its position as a global destination for major business events. From 12 to 15 February 2026, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence Global Conference will take place at The The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, a venue where Gulf Line International contributed to the lighting delivery.

Our role focused on supplying exterior and architectural lighting that supports large-scale conferences, enhances visual identity, and ensures comfort across day and evening events.

We’re proud to support the Middle East’s first-ever autism awareness raceday, taking place at Meydan Racecourse on 13 March 2026, as the lighting specialists behind this world-class venue.

We supplied and installed the original main and training track lighting and continue to support its evolution with our long standing partner, Musco Lighting. Today, Meydan’s state-of-the-art LED flood lighting system, featuring over 2,225 precision-aimed luminaires, delivers high-performance visibility while minimising glare, creating a safer, calmer, and more comfortable environment, particularly for guests with sensory sensitivities.

Delivered in collaboration with Autism in Racing and champion jockey William Buick, this landmark event represents a major step forward for inclusion in the region, demonstrating how horseracing can be more welcoming and accessible for everyone.

This autism-friendly race day highlights how thoughtful lighting and inclusive design can make a meaningful difference.

Congratulations to OMNIYAT on its 20-year milestone, marked by a landmark celebration at The Lana Dubai - Dorchester Collection.

As the lighting supplier for The Lana, Gulf Line International is proud to have contributed to an immersive, venue-wide lighting experience that transformed the hotel into a carefully curated journey through atmosphere, narrative, and emotion.

This celebration builds on our ongoing collaboration with OMNIYAT, following our work on One at Palm Jumeirah, another iconic project that reflects the client’s design-led approach to luxury living.

From the lobby and ballroom to signature dining destinations including Riviera by Jean Imbert and Jara by Martín Berasategui, and culminating at the rooftop High Society, lighting played a central role in shaping distinct moods across each space. Every area was designed to feel unique while remaining part of a cohesive, flowing guest experience.

The evening brought together dignitaries, VIPs, and partners for a celebration that blurred the boundaries between hospitality, performance, and design. Carefully layered lighting enhanced live performances, artistic moments, and the final rooftop spectacle, supporting OMNIYAT’s vision of storytelling through space.

This anniversary celebration reflects a shared belief that exceptional experiences are built through detail, precision, and collaboration. We’re proud to have played a role in lighting a milestone moment for one of Dubai’s most distinctive luxury brands.
