For Vicarello, our clients gave us something invaluable: trust and creative freedom. This allowed the story to evolve naturally—from a Parisian-inspired palette of burgundy, warm timber and veined stone to sculptural forms and unexpected material combinations.

Bespoke design became the project’s signature. Tables, lighting, joinery and architectural details were individually conceived for their setting—each piece adding another layer of personality.

The result is not simply a collection of beautiful rooms, but a home with its own rhythm, identity and story.

At C’est ici, we begin every team meeting with a word that guides how we think, create and work together. For September, that word was Intentional.

For us, being intentional means returning to the roots of our practice—to thoughtful design, meaningful choices and the belief that no detail is ever too small. We do not believe in doing half a job. Whether we are shaping an entire space or refining one final detail, everything we do must have purpose.

The answer is—very involved.

As Creative Director, the design process is the part that she loves most. Moni remains closely connected to every project, from the initial concept and spatial direction to the material palette and smallest details.

Materiality plays a defining role in our work. Together, with C’est ici team, she explores every texture, tone, finish and combination through a deeply collaborative process.

It is not about Moni’s decision or the team’s decision. It is about finding the best decision for the project.

For this home, the journey began with listening—understanding our clients’ rituals, values, and the feeling they wanted to experience every day. The result is a kitchen that feels timeless, deeply personal, and quietly luxurious.

Walnut became the defining thread of the composition, bringing warmth, depth, and permanence to the space. At its center, a remarkable stone island anchors the room—a slab that took over six months to find, selected not for perfection, but for character.

The Pierre Frey stools introduce an unexpected layer of soul, adding texture, personality, and a sense of collected beauty that softens the architecture.

L U N A | Soft Form, Bold Presence | The STORY | part of I N V E R T I | by x

The story of LUNA began quietly in our office. Originally inspired by one of our bespoke studio chairs — a piece that constantly captured attention through its sculptural silhouette and soft proportions — we wanted to reinterpret the design into something more expressive, collectible, and functional.

The base remained true to its origins: curved walnut forms, grounded in craftsmanship and simplicity. But during the design process, we felt the piece needed tension. A contrast. Something unexpected.

That is where the bold Pierre Frey textile entered the story. A subtle oriental influence layered with a refined French sensibility — bringing depth, richness, and character to the softness of the bouclé seat.

The curved backrest was then introduced not only as an aesthetic gesture, but as a functional one — designed to embrace the body while completing the visual language of the piece.

Catalina became a balance of opposites:
soft yet bold, sculptural yet practical, timeless yet expressive.

M D W | T H E | D E S I G N | I S S U E ~ Milan doesn’t begin with objects—it begins with matter.

At Milan Design Week, our lens shifts. We are not searching for products, but for origins. For the raw intelligence of materials before they are shaped into form. Stone before it becomes a table. Metal before it becomes structure. Glass before it becomes reflection.

This week, we move through different platforms—galleries, installations, showrooms—not as spectators, but as editors of material language.

In spaces like Rossana Orlandi Gallery, the narrative is clear: experimentation leads. Here, material is pushed beyond expectation—resins that behave like fabric, metals that feel almost liquid, surfaces that dissolve the boundary between art and function. It’s not about usability; it’s about possibility.

Across the city, in the layered districts of Brera and Navigli, the dialogue shifts but the principle remains. Materials are no longer static—they are experiential. Timber becomes atmosphere. Travertine becomes rhythm. Textiles become architecture. Each platform speaks a different dialect, but all are rooted in the same idea: depth over decoration.
