This is a personal struggle and the month of May is the awareness month of Ankylosing Spondylitis, don’t wait until f you suffer from one or many of these symptoms, visit a rheumatologist to eliminate the possibility.
Took me 2 years and visits to many different specialists, not knowing what is wrong with me, the pains are very misguiding and travel from one area to the other, so my quest was to go by elimination, saw a cardiologist, a neurologist, a perimenopause specialist, a urologist, osteopath, GP, a gastroenterologist, ophtalmologiste…. The ailment was everywhere !!!! Lastly I saw a rheumatologist and bingo I had a diagnosis ! By then I was depressed, tired and in pain ! There is NO cure for AS only slowing down the deterioration….
I am here to save you years of research ! See a rheumatologist first !!!
