A final look at our project of the month, .dubai at . A Parisian-Tuscan concept, made in the UAE.

From the entrance, the design establishes a clear sense of arrival through framed transitions, controlled lighting, and considered materiality.

275 sqm of handmade gypsum artwork. 190 bespoke joinery pieces. One integrated team, one facility, zero outsourcing.

Some projects stay with you. .dubai is one of ours.
A Parisian-Tuscan concept landing in DIFC, where every surface had to earn its place. Designed by interior architect Laleh Amir Assefi.
Our team delivered over 275 sqm of handcrafted gypsum artwork across the ceilings and walls. Floral motifs, birds, organic relief work, all shaped by hand, on site. Not one section identical to the next.
190 bespoke joinery pieces, produced at our facility in Dubai, installed to the millimetre. The bar, the wine cabinets, the curved booth seating, the banquette that anchors the main dining room.
This is what we built Finasi’s in-house capability for. A team that does not outsource, does not compromise, and does not walk away from a complex brief.

Three concepts selected. Now the real work begins.

This is where AI-generated design meets the hands that actually build it. Two of these pieces are well within our wheelhouse, the kind of work our joinery team knows how to bring to life with precision. But that green lounge chair? That’s a different conversation entirely.

Getting it right isn’t just about replicating what’s on screen. It’s about understanding how a person actually sits in it, how the form holds weight, where it gives, where it needs to stay firm. The ergonomics have to work as hard as the aesthetics. That’s the challenge our team is stepping into.

This is exactly why we ran the Ai masterclass with Khaled Iskandar the way we did. Not to generate pretty renders, but to produce things that can actually be built, and lived in. And made, right here in the UAE.
